Microsoft's £50bn merger with Activision Blizzard faces in-depth probe

He may not have shown his face before, but he's certainly faced some controversy, including a cheating accusation in 2020 involving speedruns. It's a long and complex issue that has a whole website devoted to it, if you're in need of more details.

The CMA said merging Activision with Microsoft could allow the tech giant to use games to 'damage' competition in the growing market for cloud gaming, which allows consumers to stream games to their devices in a manner similar to Netflix's offering for movies and TV shows.

Popular YouTuber Dream has been a household name among gamers for years -- but they never knew what he looked like. Until Sunday, when he revealed his face in a long-awaited video that earned more than 1 million views in under 45 minutes.

In his lawsuit, Antar claims he alerted numerous employees and officials with the gambling companies to the fact that there was a serious, recurring problem with disconnections, but that they knowingly kept malfunctioning games available to the public because they were too profitable to take down.

He also claims the companies paid him near-daily bonuses totaling $30,000 a month to keep him playing and to entice him not to report problems with the games to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

'It's a PR disaster, possibly sets back production and hurts morale,' financial services company Jefferies wrote in a client note, warning the potential leak of the game's source code could pose a bigger threat.

Guardiola is also convinced that top scorer Erling Haaland will eventually suffer a dip in form. Haaland has 19 goals in 11 matches for City this season and has surpassed all expectations during his first two months at the club.

Police arrest Rockstar hacker who leaked Grand Theft Auto 6 data

Uber Investigating Breach of Its Computer Systems - The New York Times

'We recently suffered a network intrusion in which an unauthorized third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage for the next Grand Theft Auto,' Rockstar said in a statement.

He stalled and joked around, hiding under a blanket and a smiley-faced mask, eventually dropping the mask about a minute and 17 seconds in to reveal a dark-haired young man, who introduced himself as Clay, without giving a last name.

Dream makes YouTube videos and streams on Twitch and is best known for his Minecraft videos. His multiple YouTube channels have millions of subscribers, with 30.4 million subscribing to his main channel. He won YouTube's Streamy award for gaming in 2020 and 2021.

'I've been in prison once, and I'm probably facing prison again, and it all had to do with me not being able to admit to myself I was a compulsive gambler,' Antar said in an interview with The Associated Press Thursday.

The suit also references an October 8, 2019 text message from an MGM representative that read, 'OK, Http://Www.Musclecars-And-Classics.Com/__Media__/Js/Netsoltrademark.Php?D=Www.Die-Seite.Com%2Findex.Php%3Fa%3Dstats%26U%3Drebbecahugo1994 let's do this: I need you (to) email me that we are closing the case and that you will no longer contact (the Borgata president) or the DGE about the case,' referring to the Division of Gaming Enforcement.

Antar played live dealer blackjack and online slots, sometimes for 24 hours straight, he said in his lawsuit; he bet more than $5 million in one 16-day period in January 2020.

During the nine month period covered in the suit, he made more than 100,000 online bets.

Antar is a convicted fraudster who faces the prospect of additional prison time in November for a scheme in which he cheated friends and relatives of money he used to feed his compulsive gambling habit.

In a July 17, 2019 text and email conversation, Antar quotes one as telling him 'other players are not getting anywhere near what you are getting' in terms of compensation for being kicked offline while gambling.

Sam Antar is the nephew of Eddie Antar (pictured right in 1992), who founded the Crazy Eddie electronics stores in the 1970s and 1980s, who defrauded investors out of more than $74million. Eddie Antar died in 2016
